Philip Roux-Lough (Dr. Philip), MD, Chief Physician and Medical Director
Dr. Philip Roux-Lough (Dr. Philip) is an Allergan Black Diamond level Botox and Juvederm practitioner.
Dr. Philip O. Roux-Loughearned his MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and his BA/MS in Applied Physics at Harvard University. Dr. Philip then completed his residency in neurological surgery at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center, and the Albert Einstein College Hospital in New York. He then became a
board-certifiedneurosurgeon and established a practice in New York and New Jersey.
Having retired from the active practice of neurosurgery, Dr. Philip now focuses on the forefront of the evolving field of aesthetic medicine. Philip is certified by the International Association for Physicians in
Aesthetic Medicine(IAPAM), is a member of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and is a PCA Skin Care Certified Professional with advanced certification.

Lauren Shanker, NP
Lauren is a board certified Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner with 8 years of experience in aesthetic medicine.
She initially started her career as a cardiac nurse while attending a Masters in Science program at NYU. While there, she specialized in acute care, and she continues to work as a Nurse Practitioner at a hospital to this day.
In 2007, Lauren decided that she wanted to help others look as well as feel better, recognizing the two are intimately related. She enjoys taking care of sick patients and being able to see them walk out the door healthier and she wanted to make people feel better on the outside as well as the inside!
That is when she decided to get trained to inject Botox and Fillers and she has been practicing aesthetic medicine ever since!
Karen Lessing, RN, RSN
Since 2007, Karen has been working as an injector, including working with Botox, Dermal Fillers, Microdermabrasion, Facial Peels, Sclerotherapy and Skin Care and is certified in all of the preceding techniques! In addition, she has been an Allergan Certified Educator (ACE) since 2012, educating many of NYC's practitioners.
From 2002 to 2007, Karen worked in facial and reconstructive surgery performing pre-operative photography, teaching, and doing surgical consultations, scheduling, and postoperative care.
From 1998 to 2002, Karen worked in the New York University Hospital operating room in plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as in hand, occuloplastic, and general surgery.
