About Our Dermal Fillers/Injectables
Injectable dermal fillers
are most often used to fill wrinkles and soften the appearance of creases, folds or cheek hollows, giving clients younger-looking, tauter skin.Dermal fillers
may also be used to give clients some of the same impact of a face lift but without the surgery. Radiesse, in particular, can be used to contour or add volume to areas of the face, such as the jaw line or cheekbones, and even to give the nose a straighter or more refined appearance. While there are a number of dermal fillers, we use Juvederm and Radiesse because we believe these two fillers get the best results, and that they represent the latest in dermal filler technology. Juvederm or Radiesse may be used in place of Restylane, Perlane and Sculptra, with results we believe are just as good or better. Juvederm comes in 0.8cc syringes, Radiesse in 0.8cc and 1.5cc syringes. Number of syringes a client requires varies with treatment, though 1-2 syringes is typical.

In addition to the usual uses of dermal filler, Juvederm may also be used to define and enhance lips. It is also a perfect complement to the use of Botox in the frown region for people with particularly deep frown lines. Juvederm can also be used to treat the tear trough or eye hollow region beneath the eyes to minimize the appearance of dark and/or sunken circles.Juvederm Before & After

Radiesse
Radiesse has a thicker consistency than Juvederm, as well as excellent "lifting power," so Radiesse is often better able to minimize the appearance of particularly deep folds. Radiesse also stimulates collagen production, resulting in firmer, more youthful skin that resists sagging. In addition to treating deep folds, Radiesse may be placed more deeply on the bone surface to enhance cheekbones and chins, widen jaw lines and straighten the line of the nose. In addition, Radiesse is ideal for restoring areas of lost volume in the cheeks, temples and along the jaw line. Another great benefit: since Radiesse stimulates collagen production, most people tend to need less of it over time. Radiesse lasts about one year for most clients.Radiesse Before & After
